   Have you ever wanted to start your own business? I have....I thought it would allow me to work smarter for less hours. I thought I would get up early in the morning, go to the gym, come home read my emails, do a couple of hours of work and have LOTS of leisure time. Hahaha oookkk..scrap the LOTS of leisure time. Starting a business takes many hours of determination and hard work. True, you often get to choose those hours you work.         After working in an extremely high stress job where I had very little personal time. I worked so many oncall hours and so many odd hours, I had severe sleep deprevation, chess pains from panic attacks and worse of all my Fibromyalgia flared up worse than ever.   Hmm, there is something I am suppose to remember....Oh well     This week I used up some of my husband's frequent flyer points to take a trip to Sydney with him. As I mentioned in a previous post, I have started a new adventure teaching Social ArtWorking Classes. The Australian Distributor for the Social ArtWorking products is located in Sydney. I mentioned to them that I could come and demonstrate just how easy it is to teach and do the painting classes.  We arrived on Sunday morning and my demonstration was not till Tues. So, I had few days to have a wander around Sydney. Sunday we went to the Aroma Festival . I thought it was a brilliant idea to have food and my favorite liquid, coffee while enjoying the atmosphere at the Rocks, Sydney . There were way to many people for my liking.        I have finally found a way to start doing what has been a dream of mine since 2012.  I have started teaching Social Art Working classes. You come along to an art class that is a social activity and party with friends, family, co-workers or come meet new friends.  Even if all you can do /can't do is paint stick figures you can create a beautiful piece of art work.  The idea is to have fun!   All the art supplies are supplied.  All you have to do is bring your friend's/family and refreshments.   Oh and make sure you have some fun!!  I said that already right ;)   When I last visited my family in the USA.  My sister suggested we all go to an Art Party located near where my family live.  All the women in the family except my great-niece went. I thought I would share a few cards I have made and recieved in Stampin Up! exchanges as a part of introducing Karing Card Club for bloggers in Australia.  I have been asked to help co-host the Karing Card Club for Australia.  Karing Card club was created by Kendra at  Kreative Creationz . The Karing Card Club is meant to encourage one another through the exchange of a card via snail mail. What a great way to encourage one another by sending a card of encouragement to a fellow blogger. Many of you have read my blog posts on markets. This week I thought I might share a few things I have learn about selling at Markets. I joined a group through the Monash Arts Network. Monash council here in Melbourne, VIC put on 6 workshops over the last few months. Each of these workshops were set up to help artists in the area develop and sell their art. <Place images of market pins here> This week's discussion was about 'Marketing Beyond the Market Day'. The take away from the workshop was it is not about your product that attracts customers.....It is about the experience. What sells your product is you and the experience you give your potential customers I go to a market at least once every 2 weeks. I must admit what makes it so exciting about going to all the markets is the experience .
